Keyboard

Most computer users would be aware of a number of quick key combinations, such as Ctrl C to copy (Cmd C on a Mac) and Ctrl V to paste (Cmd V on a Mac).

Here are ten less commonly used shortcuts:

Ctrl A to select everything

Ctrl B to bold the selected text

Ctrl I to italicise the selected text

Ctrl F to find something

Ctrl S to save your file

Ctrl P to print

Ctrl U to underline the selected text

Ctrl X to cut

And a pair of my favourites – Ctrl Y to redo and Ctrl Z to undo!

Note: A particularly handy Excel shortcut is to add today’s date by typing Ctrl ;

There are lots more which I’ll put up in the near future in a handy downloadable table.
